Mercure Newbury West Grange Hotel

Really nice hotel, great staff and very delicious breakfast. I stayed over the weekend and there isn't even one thing l could complain about. The receptionist was super friendly, got the all information what l needed. And for the price room was really good. Would highly recommend. Big thank you to all the staff working there, keep doing a great job. Will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options to choose from. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant experience.

We had a lovely stay at the Mercure. Most of the staff were really helpful and friendly. Nicole is an absolute gem. She was very keen to be helpful and answered any queries we had very efficiently and with a lovely manner. It’s a shame all the staff weren’t as helpful. On our first evening we had booked dinner in the hotel. When we turned up in the dining room we were directed to the lounge area to an area with a low table. As I have back problems we declined that as I didn’t want to have to bend over my food to eat from a low table. We asked to be seated in the dining room and the chap who was obviously in charge (I suspect the restaurant manager dressed in a suit) tutted and sighed. He tried to argue and then stopped himself. He made us feel we were being a nuisance. He gave us menus and said nothing. He then walked away and said nothing further to us. I noticed that whenever customers spoke to him he barely acknowledged them. He just gave them what they wanted and walked off. His manner was not helpful. The rest of the staff were really helpful and welcoming.
