Breakfast was delicious! Room was super clean and lots of water pressure and hot water. Close to a lot of great pubs and places to eat. The best part were the beautiful views of the city from rooms. As mentioned in other reviews, there really is no place close to park. It isn't a really a long walk, only 2 blocks. However, the views from your room make up for it. Definitely worth staying at.
I have seen this hotel for years living in Newport but never went inside. Well, I really I was suprised just how modern, clean and slick this hotel is. Service is second to none , location is brilliant, right in the middle of the city and great views from the room and stylish Bar terrace. It's great value for money and really affordable. Will be using again and recommending to friends
We really enjoyed our stay here at Mercure. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had an amazing view from our room which was a bonus. The only negative was that the parking is located a few minutes walk from the hotel and the price for parking is more than what was expected.
