Mercure Ostrava Center Hotel

Greeting was great, especially as a non-Czech speaking person. Breakfast was amazing with great variety. Location was perfect. Only grumble is the entrance to the parking area was very very tight (due the old nature old the building), would have been nice to have a litttle warning.

The hotel location is just perfect to explore the city. My room has the view of the church. Room is super clean and breakfast ist fantastic. Don’t forget to ask the hotel receptionist for the free Ostrava Card. You will get discount for many attractions and some cafe and restaurants.

Positive: Quiet location despite being right in the city center. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower. Appealing and varied breakfast buffet (except for the ice-cold fruit, which didn’t look fresh or may have been stored improperly). Great small fitness center available for free use. Mostly friendly staff. Negative: Only one blanket for the double bed, slow internet connection, front desk staff member Tereza was unfriendly: no facial expressions, unfriendly tone. It felt like we were bothering her.
