Mercure Paris La Sorbonne Saint Germain des Pres Hotel

Lovely hotel with excellent, helpful staff! Everyone was friendly. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices of breads, eggs, meats and fruits & cereals. Breakfast staff was cheerful and accommodating. Lovely hotel lounge area with drinks and coffee. Bathroom area was clean but a little small but that is normal in Paris. Shower stall door was completely transparent so we put a cloth over the door. Not everyone is comfortable showering visibly in front of friends or children. Lots of hot water and great 2-level shower! Nice choices of body washes and liquid soaps. Bed was comfortable. AC worked well and was quiet. Great elevator! Fit our luggage and several people. Great location near restaurants, stores, parks, etc.

Fabulous staff throughout our stay. Beautifully quiet fourth floor room (448) with lovely view on to old Sorbonne building. Silent and highly effective Aircon. Spotlessly clean room throughout (hotel renovated throughout in 2024). Superb breakfast with everything we could want. Generous breakfast hours — until 10 on weekdays, 11 at weekends. Very happy— now please bring all older and more tired Mercures up to this standard and watch the positive feedback and occupancy levels rise!

Excellent accommodation. The location was central to where we wanted to be. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet with little to no noise heard from other rooms. There was plenty of good water pressure & hot water in the shower. Good bathroom facilities. The breakfast on offer was plentiful & a good selection & variety. Staff were very helpful & professional, & check in/out was seamless.
