Mercure Paris Porte de Pantin

Nice rooms, excellent breakfast. Not central location but one should know what and where is booking. On the not so bright side, some of the reception staff, after the question « parlez-vous anglais?» was hanging up the phone on me. It was something punctual but disappointing, since I am a tour leader and I was responsible for more than 50 guests. Bit of English for international understanding is basic (I’m Spanish, second most spoken language in the world, but I still understand the need of English). On the other hand, at reception works the most beautiful and professional woman of Paris. Mon coeur. Una flor para otro flor

This was not my first stay at this hotel. During my previous visit, I was very satisfied – the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff made it an excellent experience, which is why I gave a very positive review back then. Unfortunately, this time my experience was different. There were some issues with the room key and parking card, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Also, despite my Gold status, I did not feel any added value – the room felt very standard, and the general cleanliness was not at the level I expected. There was even a visible stain on the floor right outside the elevator on my floor, which left a poor impression. Because of these things, I am adjusting my rating accordingly. I hope these issues can be improved in the future.

I prefer and use the Accor hotel group. I am usually satisfied. However, this time I was disappointed. I stayed at the hotel for two nights in may 2025. It was the first time in my life that I saw a room without a wardrobe. There is no proper arrangement to put or hang clothes. The room is really narrow. The face towel is so old that it has literally turned grey. The toilet section in the bathroom is very narrow. The breakfast section is very small. The tables and chairs are crowded together. The breakfast content is weak and insufficient.
