Mercure Paris Velizy

Chose this hotel because of the fact that it has 2 queen beds (in other hotels my daughter would have a sofa bed) and a swimming pool and both were perfect. All other things were not perfect, like the deposit of €600! (but still only a deposit), old furniture, doors that had to be pushed really hard to close (door to corridor and bathroomdoor). It still has roadworks so pay good attention to the roadsigns, especially the sign that says forbidden to enter EXCEPT when visiting the hotel. All in all, it met my expectations and would stay here again.

We booked and paid for a Prestige room for 2 adults and a 10 y/o but on Check in we only found one bed. Despite asking several times to get another bed it was only brought on our third night there. They was a nice guy at the reception who did his best to find an alternative for us by giving us an extra room for the fist two nights but it was frustrating to keep reminding them. My husband had to be very direct with them so that they could react otherwise they kept promising and nothing was forthcoming. Also, the Hotel was quite hard to find with the ongoing construction around it and there’s no information about that. We won’t be coming again and we do not recommend the hotel.

Hotel rooms are not clean. A lot of noise during the night of other guests. The pool is full of floating hairs. Would not recommend this to my family or friends
