Mercure Porto Centro Aliados

Our stay was brief, but so happy I booked this hotel. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and so easy in and out. The garden in the back with the pool is lovely and such a welcome retreat. The restaurant was perfect. Cocktails and small bites hit the spot after a long train ride into Porto. The rooms are well appointed, and the blow dryer is one of the best I have every found in a hotel anywhere. Bed was very comfortable. Next time we will book a room with a balcony, as I would've enjoyed the garden even more. Definitely a next time. Highly recommend Mercuri in Porto.

Cutest modern boutique hotel. It was great having a pool for late afternoons after sight seeing. Great service. Drinks at bar are not great. Great location and walking distance to everything. Rooms and bathroom are great size for Europe standards.

Very convenient location on a quieter pedestrian side street. There is a coffee shop on the corner, a great convenience store across the street for waters, sim cards, snacks, and souvenirs. Minutes walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large for Europe, we enjoyed having the 2 twin beds pushed together over a standard queen. Our room has a fridge and a good amount of shelves and closet space. The glass on the balcony doors are amazing, virtually no sound comes through. I appreciate the energy conservation techniques that turn off the air when the balcony is open and you insert your key card into a slot to activate and deactivate all the lights.
