Mercure Quemado Resort

I want to start with the positives. The team was super nice: from the breakfast team, reception, housekeeping, security. The view is also very nice. But the hotel wasn't super clean and needs a renovation. Elevators, furniture, all was OLD.

=review for the apartment People in the swimming pool: 5* Location and view: 5* probably 7* Rooms are beautiful, big with absolutely amazing view. But dirty!! Floor is dusty. Sofa and chairs are dirty with sands everywhere. Communal apartment area is dirty and neglected. The main hotel building looks clean so we don’t understand. And worst is the SMELL. Sewage smell that somehow getting very strong in the night. We couldn’t locate the source because outside there was no sewage smell. Kitchen has a dishwasher that couldn’t be opened because the door would hit other cabinet’s handle. We didn’t use it but we had a good laugh.. until we recognized the trash bin was literally falling apart 😆 So in general amazing location, stunning view, direct access to lovely beach, beautiful buildings but with lots of maintenance issues.

I paid €160 for a two-night stay, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The breakfast buffet was very basic and lacked variety—for example, they didn’t even provide single-serve honey packets. Additionally, the hotel is currently undergoing renovation and maintenance, which affected the overall experience. I also found the balcony to be lacking in privacy, as guests in neighboring rooms could easily see me. Given these issues, I feel the price I paid was too high for the experience I received.
