I spent two nights away from the hustle and bustle of Paris on a weekend between business trips, and I felt extremely refreshed. When I arrived at the hotel entrance by car, I thought, "Wow..." from the exterior, but that first impression was betrayed in a good way. The kind staff were attentive to our check-in at the reception, which made us enjoy our stay, the room was clean, and most of all, the food, mainly champagne, was very delicious. It was a great two-night stay. I would have liked to stay longer if it was convenient for business. I would like to stay here again next time I go to France. thank you very much.
Gave it a second chance before reviewing. I stayed here twice, wanting to give the hotel a fair shot. During my first visit, I was placed in a ground-floor room “decorated by a local artist” (see my photos from January 2025). While I understand the intention behind creating a unique vibe, the design felt more like graffiti than art, and the space was not relaxing—it actually gave me a sense of anxiety. On my return visit, I requested a different room and was given a more standard one, which was much better. Interestingly, a staff member admitted that I wasn't the only guest who had reacted negatively to that particular room. The hotel clearly aims for a laid-back, informal atmosphere, but this sometimes slips into a lack of professionalism. For instance, I was greeted in a rather indifferent manner at check-in. The restaurant team is friendly, but there are details that fall short of a 4-star standard: forgotten items like bread, and the occasional dirty glass. That said, I did notice improvement on my second stay, and I appreciate that effort. With a few adjustments to consistency and service quality, this place could live up to its potential.
Quirky decor used for overnight stops to and from Italy. Good variety of foods at breakfast, comfortable rooms, very pleasant staff, no porterage though.
