Although public areas such as reception and conference rooms are pristine, my room left a lot to be desired. For a 4☆ hotel, its rooms are definitely in need of refurbishment. The tiling in the bathroom was in need of regrouping, there were obvious signs of patching up paintwork, the carpet was old, as was the furniture. Whilst clean, it really was a very disappointing stay. Breakfast was basic and food was not replaced when needed.

Positive: - Not far from the train station - Large breakfast selection - Large room Negative (room): - Small window - Large stain on back of curtain - Scratched toilet seat - Worn down tiles in bathroom - Safe did not work - Soap dispenser fell off during the night Negative (breakfast): - Found a dead fly next to the cheese - First orange I grabbed for the juice machine was moldy - Nothing looked very fresh - Particularly the scrambled eggs and pancakes - Noticed some dirty glasses next to the juice machine None of the issues alone would be a problem for me, but all of them together made my stay not very enjoyable. It is not up to standards with other four star hotels. However, I highly recommend the hotel of the same brand in Brest. Same breakfast layout but everything is fresh, modern and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful, but management should really invest some money.
