Excellent location with a view of the cathedral. Comfortable room and quiet, even though it is in a very central area. There are 2 parking spots at the hotel, but there is an area in front to stop and drop your bags. The parking garage Foch is about a 5-8 minute walk and has both outdoor and underground parking spaces. We stayed from 5 pm to noon the next day for 10€. Didn’t have the breakfast. Rodez was a great town and I would stay again at the Mecure. We had the superior room, which had a small fridge, nespresso coffee maker & tea kettle.

Enjoyable stay. It's a great central location. Friendly staff. Restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel car park is tiny so if you drive a large car, you are probably better off using the local public car park within walking distance.

I’ve probably stayed in this hotel 4 times but at least 2 since January for work. A group of us always stay here when visiting our French Headquarters. The room is a good, nothing exceptional but comfortable, clean and updated. I’d like a softer pillow but honestly that’s just a preference thing for me. There’s a nice breakfast each morning with all the typical French basics including eggs so not just the standard continental fare we see in the US. The staff is very friendly and helpful just as I find all the business owners in Rodez and in surrounding area. They great you with a smile and make you feel comfortable even if you don’t speak French. Several good restaurants are within 300 meters walking. Aveyron, it’s off the beaten path from touristic France but worth the effort to get there for a few days for the beautiful scenery and good food. I always enjoy my time in the town and staying at the Mercure in the center.
