Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo

Amazing place with the most convenient location. The view from the top floor is amazing. The pool is only 1 m deep so it's more for soaking but it's perfect after a whole day of walking. The rooms are small but well-designed and convenient. The staff was always helpful and understanding. The breakfast was surprisingly good by Italian breakfast standards. Every evening you can go for a stroll around the Colosseum. Would recccomend for couples or with older kids.

We just completed a four night stay at this hotel and it was pretty good. The room was clean but not terribly spacious. The bathroom was tiny with a really stupidly low counter. Air con was great and there is a handy fridge for keeping drinks cold. The hairdryer was awful and cut out every few seconds and then couldn’t be started again. Asked for a proper hairdryer from reception, which they had. The rooftop bar evening staff were absolutely brilliant. All really friendly, efficient and helpful. Same for the reception staff. It’s really the staff and the location that make this hotel what it is.

Location was great Staff were very friendly Sunset on the roof was spectacular! Breakfast was 7/10 4 negatives. MY mistakes.. in not reading the room is the size of my size 15 shoe box 14sq is small! Thinking how amazing a pool would be in the summer, of course 150 other people thought the same thing and the pool was like being a gold fish with a 150 other goldfish in a tea cup.. Hotels fault, The TV was born in 1999, just a plain TV no options. You have to stand up to enjoy the view, you Can't just sit back and chill looking at the amazing view
