Lovely modern hotel close to the coliseum and Metro lines, however, pretty far away from the main part of Rome. Rooms were very nice, clean, well appointed. Breakfast goes ample and beyond Continental with hot and cold choices. Small bar in the lobby that was accessible during evening hours. All in all a lovely place to stay.
Extremely disappointing experience — would not recommend at all. The first issue we encountered was the front desk staff. Their behavior was completely unprofessional — they were extremely disrespectful and showed no willingness to help or assist in any way. As for the rooms, they were a complete shock. The photos online are one thing, but the reality is completely different. The room was poor in every aspect: • Not worth even a quarter of the price we paid. • The bathroom was clogged and had a terrible odor. • The space was so tight you could barely move around. • The furniture was old and dirty, and the AC wasn’t cooling properly. Honestly, think twice — or a hundred times — before booking this place.
The photos online are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. The room was extremely small, with poor soundproofing—you could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms. The smell from the toilet was unbearable, and the bathroom itself was outdated and not properly cleaned. There was no air conditioning, and the window couldn’t be opened without letting in mosquitos, making the room hot and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the bed sheets had visible blood stains, which is absolutely unacceptable. This hotel is nowhere near 4-star quality—it felt more like a 1 or 2-star property at best. Sadly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend it to anyone.
