We flew into Rome from Perth at 0600 then made our way into the city to the hotel. Our check-in wasn’t until 1500. We asked if we could change and leave our luggage and come back, which we did then we were recharging our phones. We were then notified that our room was ready and we’d been upgraded (gold Accor members). The room was very comfortable and had a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was to die for. We loved our stay here and thoroughly recommend it to fellow travellers.
Was traveling solo in Rome and stayed at this hotel. My experience was wonderful. The room was pretty and in good condition. I think the bidet had a leak or something but it wasn't a big deal personally. The staff were friendly and helpful, I arrived a day later to the hotel because of a cancelled flight and the staff made sure my room was still reserved. The neighborhood itself is a little far from the center of the city, but there are bus stops at a walking distance so getting to sights was no problem. The neighborhood is also more residential and I felt safe, which was very important to me as a solo traveler. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely stay again.
Honestly, I expected better. I don’t know if it’s a cultural difference but the staff are RUDE. They act like any query you make is a huge request, openly roll their eyes and sigh at you, staff are also constantly on their phones. - Rooms are okay, the bathroom is really nice but cleanliness needs to improve. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is lovely and it’s in a great location. It’s a shame the rude staff make it a bad experience. I can say however that a few ladies that work there are awesome, a blonde lady with a bun and a girl named Jessica is amazing. Also the short manager lady is lovely. Bar staff & kitchen staff need to improve massively. My second point is the breakfast, it’s not edible - I don’t know how they think that food is okay to serve but it’s NOT. Don’t even get me started with the prices if you want to order anything off the menu. I paid £700 for 5 nights so a certain level of service is expected but this did not meet that standard. Major improvements need to happen before I consider staying here again.
