Modern, clean hotel, very comfortable beds, lovely shower. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was top notch too. It is a little bit of a walk from the old town, but not too far.
The hotel is well located (across from the train station for those who come by train), close to a few nice restaurants (Bar à Naan and La Taverne with seafood specialties), and a 15 minute leisurely walk to the old walled city. The people at reception are very kind and welcoming. I had a privilege room. The only offered fizzy drink was coke, which I don't like. A bigger choice (like in other Mercure hotels) of fizzy drinks (even fizzy water) is always nice.
Location is good! But nothing else Rooms are not isolated at all- you can hear vehicles movement, all other noise from the road. Staff says very nicely that the noise is on the road we cannot do anything. Rooms are big, but beds are bit hard. Bathroom- do not forget to get your toilet kit , this being a 4 star Hotel they provide only Towel and Shower gel and nothing extra . This hotel doesn’t deserve the 4 star, it should be 3
