We had a lovely stay at the Mercure Hotel in Sheffield. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Thanks to Cara for preparing our room – it was spotless and very welcoming. I would also like to express my appreciation to Muskan from the reception team. She was exceptionally kind with my children, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended
Nice hotel, the reviews were quite concerning but we stayed in a privileged room so were very happy with our room and view. To wasn’t working, maybe remote batteries but we didn’t stay in the room during the day so not a problem really. Everything else was good, fridge worked and rooms neat and smelt clean. Only other thing was after using the bathtub the first night it wasn’t washed. Lovely forest near by for early morning walks if you prefer not to use the hotel gym.
I do not recommend this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, and for 2 of those nights, around 20 men were sitting in front of the hotel until 2 a.m., drinking, smoking, and talking loudly. It was impossible to sleep with the window open, and the air conditioning in the room only made noise without cooling. The staff should ensure quiet hours are respected after 11 p.m. instead of turning the area in front of the hotel into a bar with tables
