Mercure Szczyrk Resort

Very nice hotel with over 400 rooms, I believe. The food is amazing, probably the best we ever had. The hotel is new, built in late 2024. Nice location to have a walk around. All rooms face Szczyrk hill so the view is there. There is a quite nice wellness, 4 saunas, aquapark, gym. Few rooms for children - this hotel is really children friendly - you can even let your children in play room whilst you eat. The only tiny letdown was service. Check in: We came in to check in at 2PM, we were told that our room is not ready and were told to come back after 4PM, official check in time. Usually in other hotels, when we come early, we fill the papers, details and just wait for room and then we just get cards and everything is quicker. Also it would be nicer if we were told that we can go to bar and have coffee etc. At 4 PM I went to get the check in done, waited in a queue for 20 mins and was told that my room is not ready yet - we received a voucher for 2 drinks, that was nice. Around 5:30 I went to ask again and the room was ready. Staff at the bar: You sit in a nicely decorated bar with amazing mountain view and wait for someone to come for 5 - 10 mins. Almost no one smiled and overall some of the staff looked like they dont want to be there. The experience was not as expected, especially for such a nice location and highly priced drinks, beer for 22 PLN - 5,2 EUR. Overall the experience was lovely and we would definitelly come again. Minor details to improve and the experience is 100%.

Upon arrival to the front desk, as a loyal Accor member Status recognition: ✔️ Room upgrade:✔️ Early check in / late check out:✔️ Welcome drinks:✔️ Front desk staff Agnieszka was friendly and very helpful. We got checked in efficiently. Room was very clean and comfortable with stunning view. Restaurant: We had 3 dinners at the Flame in our 4 night stay, in our opinion, this restaurant offered high quality delicious food and service. Our toddler enjoyed very much at Kids club and Swimming Pool. We would love to go back!

Such a nice hotel with great views, really kids friendly. The food was amazing and staff friendly. We enjoyed 3 nights stay with 2 years old kid even swimming pool and indoor whirlpool were temporary closed. Will give 5 stars but unfortunately I had problem with such a smell of urine on toilets in the hotel, especially ladies' one close to reception and swimming pool. Will be nice to do a better cleaning of toilets.
