Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel

From check in to check out Philip and the team at the Thame Lambert Hotel were excellent. I had booked a package through Great Little Breaks and the whole experience was perfect. Our room was comfy and clean. The food, service and cocktails were superb and the helpful hints from Philip about getting the park and ride to Oxford was greatly appreciated. I hope I can return again next year and bring my other sisters with me this time. Thanks again Philip and the team for making my time away with my sister so memorable. 5 star service all the way.

Stayed for a night for a wedding, and found facilities up to a very nice standards. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything we’d asked for was provided - adjoining rooms and a cot for an infant. They additionally made sure our room was ground floor and accessible to the location of the reception venue. All the staff were very pleasant, extremely accommodating and attentive. Breakfast the next morning was tasty although limited in choice. In saying that, kitchen staff were willing to provide veggie sausages and sunny side up eggs upon request. I’d recommend as a wedding venue, and may revisit for a Sunday carvery, or weekday lunch.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and hosted our wedding celebration here. We dealt with Admiral who organised our party with 100 guests and he was a delight - Mr. Does it all! We stayed in the bridal suite for our stay, and although it was admittedly a little tired looking, it was very clean and comfy. The room was refreshed daily and we slept well, with it being quiet. We ordered room service and the food was good and came promptly. Staff were really professional and attentive. The cooked breakfast was pretty standard, but the buffet as a whole provides a good selection - with; cereal, yogurts, toast and fruit. For the party, our package included use of the outside patio space next to the function room, with seating, this was perfect for a hot spring night. Staff were excellent on the night, Admiral, Amy, Megan and the team helped create a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. They also left a note with a bottle of bubbly in our room. The personal touch just added that certain something. The team should be very proud of themselves, they absolutely make this place and we will definitely be back :)
