Mercure Toulouse Centre Wilson Capitole hotel

The location of this hotel was very good, easily accessible by the airport bus/ metro. The staff were generally very good and helpful. The room was decent, very soundproof to outside noises, but the air conditioning overall is (like many other places) not very strong/cool, so we were rather warm overnight - granted there was a heatwave when we were there and everything would have been well taxed! The hotel staff did try to accommodate us re a cooler room/ cleaning filters etc and we are grateful for that.

The location is amazing, the staff was great. Overall the room was good, but the bed was stiff as a floorboard. If you like stiff beds then this hotel is perfect for you. If you are like me and like your bed to be a bit soft then don't go to this hotel. I did not rest well staying at this hotel, just because of the bed.

Breakfast - good quality. Mix of hot and continental. Not a lot of food choices though. Fresh fruit juice and good coffee. Room - bed was comfortable and clean. open plan bathroom meant wet floors but it wasn't too bad. Quiet and not disturbed by other guests I asked if I could get an iron before travelling to the hotel but when I got here I couldn't get access to any of the 10 irons the hotel claimed to have which was very disappointing. Location - good location to amenities including restaurants and bars. 20 minutes from the airport The water provided at reception was also a great idea.
