MY stay at the Mercure Paris Eiffel Tower Grenelle Hotel was absolutely delightful, and we highly recommend it! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a wonderful tone for my visit. Room was not only clean and comfortable but also boasted a truly fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a magical sight to wake up to each morning. The breakfast experience was a definite highlight. The hotel offered a wide and delicious selection, catering to all tastes. What truly made it exceptional, however, was the dining staff. Their warmth and attentiveness were remarkable, and I would like to extend a special thank you to Shiva for providing such great service and engaging in such pleasant interactions during breakfast. While everything else was perfect, a minor suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a shower curtain or door in the bathroom to prevent water from spilling. This small change would make the showering experience even more comfortable. Overall, the Mercure Paris Eiffel Tower Grenelle Hotel provided a fantastic experience, thanks to its excellent amenities, prime location, and most importantly, its wonderful staff. We can't wait to return!
Great location to Eiffel Tower and river cruise. Quieter part of the city. Feels more relaxing. Only problem was waiting for our room. Realizing it was before check in however having booked a premium room I would expect premium service. Many others with standard rooms were given their rooms and the time they told us kept changing. Just flew in so jet lagged and needed a quick refresh. Need to raise the bar on customer service. Ran out of soap and never got a refill after we asked. On a very positive note if you want an Eiffel Tower view than this place is Amazing. We sat in awe watching the tower at night like a dream.
This hotel is not worthy of 4-stars and is more of a 1-star motel. It is disgusting, infested with bugs, mold, smells awful & lacks any sort of hospitality. My stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Not long after checking in, I noticed a strong musty odor in the room and found many bugs (possibly drain flies) in the shower — a clear sanitation issue. I reported it to the front desk, and they said they’d move me to another room later in the day. I was told to return for the key. When I came back, I was told the new room was no longer available because I hadn’t packed my bags — something no one had informed me I needed to do. Instead, they claimed the issue in my room had been resolved. That was not true: the bugs were still there and the musty smell never went away. After escalating the issue again at almost midnight, they offered to move me to a downgraded room but refused to adjust the rate I paid. While the new room didn’t have visible bugs, it reeks of body odor and armpit, making it just as uncomfortable to stay in. I also noticed visible signs of neglect and damage in the rooms: cracked walls, mold, water damage, and bathroom flooring lifting off of the floor, stained curtains — signs of poor upkeep that made me question how thoroughly anything in this hotel is actually cleaned or maintained. I strongly suspect the original bug issue was caused by mold buildup in the drains, which is not just disgusting but also potentially unsafe for guests. I highly suggest you do not stay here! Between the lack of cleanliness, the dishonest communication, and the refusal to offer fair compensation, I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and would never return.
