Mercure Valenciennes Centre

Very comfortable hotel. Decent breakfast options. The parking might be a bit if an issue since the street is quite busy but there is a public parking next to it. Toilet paper could be nicer tho 😅

Great Hotel! Centrally located in Valenciennes downtown. Close to many services and the Place D'Armes! We were very well greeted by the staff. The rooms are very clean and all the services were working properly. Very good variety of food for breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at Valenciennes Mercure Hotel in the last days of February 2023. We knew the location of the hotel from our previous trips to Valenciennes. The hotel is a good alternative with its central location and the standard it provides. When you arrive at the hotel with your car, you can download your luggage and complete your check-in process with a short wait in front of the door. The hotel does not have its own parking lot. You can use the paid parking garage of the shopping center right next to it or the paid open parking spaces on the side roads 1-2 streets away like us. Walking is not a problem as everything is close. the staff was very caring and helpful. I would also like to thank the receptionist who kindly fulfilled our very interesting request, such as can you give me 2 eggs to cook at my daughter's house while we are leaving because the markets are closed on Sunday. Rooms are quite new and comfortable. Standard rooms are not very spacious. Since the air conditioning system works loud, if you leave the heating on at night, you have to endure some noise.
