Mercure Welcome Melbourne

My daughter and myself recently stayed at this hotel for 4 days and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was well-maintained. The amenities and toiletries provided were good enough and always replenished well if needed. During breakfast at the cafe, the service was friendly and attentive. The staff greeted guests warmly and ensured that tables were cleared promptly. The breakfast selection offered a good variety, including fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and made-to-order eggs. Every morning, we are being greeted by the F & B supervisor (Ms Karen Eikawa). She is always wearing a happy smiles and very attentive to all walk in customers. This is really very amazing and with working attitudes. Overall, I appreciated the quality of both the accommodations and the cafe service. I would recommend this hotel to travellers looking for comfort and good Hospitality's.

The room was clean & service exceptional! The bed was very uncomfortable however for the second night of my stay they added a comforter for the mattress which was a great improvement! I appreciate the staff for offering this as a solution and being so prompt with actioning the request. The hotel breakfast was great with all the standards of a hotel buffet. Great seating overlooking the early morning walkers & high end shops. Location was the absolute winner here - easy to catch trams, easy access for Ubers, loads of shopping options within walking distance! While the room was a little tired & barely furnished, overall it was a pleasant experience

Room was very old and run down. Walls are thin and you can hear the conversations of people in the next rooms. Shower was awful and couldn't hold a temperature, would fluctuate from scolding hot to freezing cold every few seconds. Not sure how this hotel is 4 stars. Really needs to be revised. 3 star hotel at best.
