Merewether Motel

Absolutely loved our stay at Merewether Motel! We stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn’t be happier. The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable — everything from the bed to the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ drive to Merewether Beach and close to great cafés and restaurants in The Junction. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. Parking was a bit tight when the motel was full, but we always managed to find a spot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, well-located, and reasonably priced place to stay in Newcastle. Will definitely be coming back!

Handy location, especially as a pitstop driving through Newcastle. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and accommodating as were arriving late. Our room was clean, decent size with a very comfy bed. Can't comment on the pillows as I always travel with my own. Only disappointment (and is my personal preference) was that the showers had been changed from the photos to all rainshower heads. Interesting toilet and basin combo. Great kitchenette with everything needed. Really convenient with the petrol station next door, as has all types of stock for travellers eg brekkie boxes. Although very close to highway, didn't hear too much noise. Great value for money for quick stop overs.
