I was recently blacklisted from the discount program at this North Cyprus casino just because I had won a fair amount. This exclusion is just the tip of the iceberg in their unfair practices. What's worse, Turkish Cypriots are bizarrely banned from these casinos in their own country, a clear case of discrimination. And if the management doesn't like you, be prepared for unnecessary police interventions. In short, this casino is not just discriminatory but also retaliatory against its patrons. It's definitely not a place that values fairness or customer respect. August 2025 Update: On a positive note; the lawmakers brought in a new law where locals are now allowed inside casinos on their own island. On a negative note, every live-Roulette table in Merit is rigged, they have technology that weighs the chips and a button the worker presses to make it land on an empty number whenever they want.
