Meriton Suites Bondi Junction

Honestly, I’m stunned. This was my first time staying at a Meriton property, and I don’t think I’ll ever consider another hotel in Australia again — unless Meriton stops offering competitive rates. This was hands down the best accommodation experience I’ve had in this country. The apartment has everything — thoughtful layout, full kitchen, great lighting, amazing bed, and absolutely spotless cleanliness. I could breathe again here. It’s calm, elegant, and feels genuinely safe. I’m especially impressed with how quiet it was — despite being built above a train station, on the 13th floor I heard nothing with the doors closed. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and you can feel that care went into every little detail. Service? Exceptional. I honestly didn’t think this kind of service existed in Australia. Every single staff member I interacted with went above and beyond — professional, polite, and switched on. That’s rare here. One small suggestion: please add more tissue boxes around the suite. There’s only one in the bathroom, but since you’ve got a kitchen, lounge, and bedroom, it would make sense to have tissues in more than one spot — especially if you want to keep things looking fresh and clean. Aside from that — 11/10. Thank you, Meriton. I’m genuinely grateful.

Bathrooms a little dated but good size rooms Supplies such as dishwashing liquid, shampoo etc only for first 24-48 hours. Towels renewed on request. Self contained kitchen. Each time I have stayed I’ve had an apartment with lovely views. Laundry room in each apartment which is great. Comfy beds and good shower pressure.

My wife and I stayed at Meriton Suites for just over two weeks, and our experience was a mix of frustration and exceptional service. The Bitter: The first part of our stay was disappointing due to a poorly cleaned room. Under the bed, we found dust, dirt, chocolate wrappers, and even money—clearly untouched for weeks. Though reception sent housekeeping to vacuum, the room remained extremely dusty. Unfortunately, both my wife and I had the flu, and the dust only worsened our respiratory issues. As a result, we missed our ongoing flights and had to extend our stay. To make matters worse, the night manager was highly unprofessional, adding to our discomfort. The Sweet: Due to miscommunication between reception, housekeeping, and the night manager, I had to escalate the issue to head office. Thankfully, I was connected with Matt, the NSW General Manager, who was incredibly professional and took immediate action. He personally came to Bondi Junction, arranged for us to be moved to a spotless, upgraded three-bedroom apartment with breathtaking harbour views, and even provided medicine and refreshments. His exceptional care turned our experience around. A special thanks to staff members Charm, Bianca, Sue , and Bondi Junction General Manager Anthony, who ensured everything ran smoothly after Matt stepped in. Despite the initial setbacks, their outstanding customer service ensured we didn’t leave with a sour taste in our mouths. Thank you, Matt and team—you went above and beyond!
