Meriton Suites Kent Street Sydney

This is my fourth time stay with Meriton Kent Street in two years. The location was excellent in the center of CBD. We rent a private car and the parking lot is so convenient. The suite is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The management improved lots of services among these years such as the house keeping services and providing arrival lounge on your check in date.

Love the pool and the spa facilities. Receptions services took a bit of time, however it is generally very pleasant experiences. The bed is super comfy :)

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While check-in was smooth and the location was convenient, the cleanliness of the room was a significant issue. Upon entering, we found a ball of hair and dust in the entranceway, and the ensuite toilet had crusty residue, which was unacceptable. Regrettably, I didn’t report these issues immediately due to our limited time outside the apartment. We had called reception on that day in the afternoon to extend our checkout time to 11 am, which was accommodated. However, the next morning, at around 10 am, someone entered our room without any prior notice or greeting. This startled my friend, which the person in our apartment quickly ran outside. There was no apology or explanation from the staff, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and confused about how they accessed our room. When I spoke with the manager about these concerns, she apologised and mentioned that she would investigate the matter and hope I have a better stay next time. However, it felt like there was no real resolution or assurance that the issues would be addressed. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and hope that the hotel can improve its service and cleanliness for future guests.
