Meriton Suites Zetland

We stayed for 1 night in a 1 bedroom suite. The suite we had was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well laid out. It far exceeded our expectations. The bed was huge, very firm. All the suites utilities worked fine. The only fault I had was we had a shower over a bath. Being in my 70's, I didn't feel safe with nothing to steady myself. The parking was excellent, the staff were very professional and friendly. we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Awesome.

I recently had a 2 night stay here for the night before and night of my wedding. The service at the front desk was excellent and efficient. Our room (2 bedroom) was perfect for what we needed (4 adults) with ample space in the living area for us to get ready in the morning with hair and make up artists. It wasn’t cramped at all. The extra touches from the staff for our special occasion were a nice touch too. Will recommend and stay here again.

It's "acceptable." If you're looking for a safe, convenient, budget-friendly option in the area, it's a reasonable choice. Front reception staff were courteous and friendly, even when check in was very busy. Parking is easily accessible and there was good availability. Costs $30/night. Location is fantastic, just a few minutes away from the shops and eateries--some good regional cuisine in the area. Accommodation: mixed feelings. There was no hand soap for the bathrooms, just a little tube of body wash. We had to buy our own hand wash. The kitchen floor wasn't clean at all, it was oily and dirty. When I used a hand wipe to clean up a spill on the kitchen tiles, it came away covered in black grime. The rooms seemed a little dusty. Apartments near the Eastern Distributor side are noisy all day and night, even with the double-glazing, although this reduces the sound significantly. Tip: ask for an apartment on the Defries Ave side, away from the Eastern Distributor. Feedback to management: deep cleaning of apartments should be carried out at regular intervals, including a thorough dusting/vacuum of bedrooms and mopping of the kitchen tiles to remove oil and grime.
