Mermaid Island Beach Resorts

Hi, I am from Hyderabad, Telangana State, We three families stayed for two days from 18 to 20 May, 2025. We have booked total 4-rooms package (ie., two rooms having swimming pool and two honey moon rooms), and the check in time was 2.00 pm. Due to traffic we could reach the hotel bit late by 4.30 pm, and could not lift their call and by that time swimming pool rooms were given to somebody else and we were forced to take rooms of another property demarcated by a road in between and next day we were given the swimming pool rooms which are actually agreed. However it is pertinent to mention that the hotel staff are good, complementary break fast is available which is good. Further the dinner food we were served was not good at all, quantity is too less, they do not know how to cook sea food. Location wise, beach lovers will enjoy the stay here, as it is very nearer to Beach. For the persons who love the sea food, order it from the outside and stay in this property. To help the travellers, I am giving a clear picture of the hotel. While booking speak to the management categorically the room floor, and property as all the three properties are separately located, but named as Mermaid Island beach Resort ie., Location No.1) Two Swimming pool rooms, Location No. 2) Two Honey moon rooms every floor and Location No.3) Two Beach View Rooms Ground floor and other two rooms in the same location which are not beach view at 1st floor. I would like to give 5-star rating location- wise and staff service, and 1-star for the food and commitment.

The listing for this property is misleading. One of the rooms is advertised as a 2-bedroom villa with a sea view and swimming pool. Neither the bedrooms nor the pool offer a proper sea view — you can only catch a glimpse of the sea by peeking from a corner of one of the dark and dingy room. Some of the other villas have a slightly better view, specially the top floor that overlooks the sea but overall, the service and the surrounding environment fall short, making the experience not worth the price. The access to beach is subject to your own joy of watching locals taking a dump in the morning or sitting and drinking in the night. All this definitely makes it unfriendly for couples.

Had a really disappointing experience at Mermaid Island Beach Resort. The place was not at all as expected – many things were not in place and poorly maintained. Rooms were not clean, basic amenities were missing, and the overall upkeep was very bad. The service was horrible, with staff being unresponsive and not helpful at all. For the price charged, the experience was far below standard. Definitely not worth visiting or recommending.
