Mermaid Motel S FR 1812 Scenic Gulf Dr

I recently stayed at the Salty Mermaid with my best friend. We have been loving the beach together for 35 years and have stayed at many places, many different beaches. Salty mermaid is in my top 3! The room was lovely, very nicely decorated and very clean! The view was absolutely beautiful and we could enjoy it from our room, or the lovely yard area between our room and the beach. They even provided coffee to be sipped while the sun came up. The staff was as kind and friendly as any I've ever met. We spent a perfect couple days on the beach, enjoyed nearby restaurants, watched a movie when we got back to the room, and then had a great night's sleep, in a very cool room, on a comfortable bed, with the best pillows! I would rate this stay at the beach a 10 out of 10!

Hidden gem! What a great find for a quick getaway. Rooms are cozy for two- clean and well decorated. Comfortable bed. And the best part is you just open your back door and the beach is steps away! We also walked to the popular Flagler Ave where there are plenty of shops, restaurants & cafes. Excellent stay! We will be back!

We needed a beach getaway and this fit the bill perfectly!!! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The main drawback to our trip was the room next door. They were in town for a family wedding and the family ķept showing up in the patio/courtyard area....which is supposed to be private for guests (there's only 5 rooms, so you know who's staying there!), not guests and 15 family members! We didn't spend good money to listen to a wedding party half the night (especially small children!)
