Mermaid s Folly

This is the quintessential, old school beach vibe I have been looking for my entire life in an inn. It's not a perfect, standard and boring beach hotel. It is so much more than that. If you want a sterile and standoffish environment, this is not for you. This place is so much more than that. You are greeted with the most friendly and accommodating people. Fresh breakfast? Yes. Recommendations around the island? Yes. Will you possibly hear other people in the next room? Maybe. But who cares? This is the last of a dying breed. This place took me back to my childhood, and people who actually care about running a place that provides the most genuine experience. I will come back. Again and again.

Very cute little inn. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I felt like I was staying at a loved one’s house, it was very cozy and quaint. Very thin walls and the beds are very squeaky and small for 2 people so just prepare for that if you’re in a bedroom. Shower pressure is almost non-existent but other than that, it is a very charming and sweet place for a quiet stay.

Overall a good place to stay. Quirky cottage and nice breakfast in the morning. We stayed in the Azul Blue and the room and bed was nice enough and cute. My only issue was the shower did not drain well at all so you had to stand in whatever was backed up in the drain to wash.
