Meroddi Bagdatliyan Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a family of six. The location is excellent — very close to public transport, which made getting around easy and convenient. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space for all of us. The staff were especially friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks to the receptionists Mehmet and Yener for their warm hospitality and great service — they really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great customer service!

I am absolutely stunned with our stay here. Magnificent location, just 2 minutes walk to Galata Tower. Exceptional staffs. Aysude was so kind, kept checking with me every morning if our stay is going well. Very nice breakfast. Brilliant housekeeping service. 10 on 10. Absolute value for money.

Awful experience here. Waste of money and would never recommend this hotel. I was given a room in their second building around the corner. The shower was covered in thick black mould. The hairdryer was coming off the wall and would switch off after 5 seconds. The windows are rubbish so all of the outside noise prevents any decent sleep. The hotel said not to change the air-conditioning mode which was set to 'heat' even though it was very warm weather. The whole building needs modernising and a good clean, there were thick layers of dust everywhere. On one of the days, my key card suddenly stopped working so I could not even enter the room. When I spoke to the man at reception about these issues, he was very rude and did not want to hear. When I was checking out, there was another guest who was complaining about her room and also demanded to be moved... that says it all. Terrible experience, by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Avoid at all costs!
