We were staying at another hotel nearby and came here just to check the place out and have something to eat. The hotel is currently under renovation, but you can already see how beautiful it will be once it's finished. We really enjoyed the restaurant area and the menu. The staff is very attentive and helpful, it’s quiet, not crowded at all, and the background music is lovely. The menu is large and diverse — and they even have syrniki! Some of the best we’ve tried on the island, honestly. Even if you don’t end up staying at this hotel, but you’re in the Ubud area, I highly recommend coming here for a meal. The café is still in progress too, but once it’s filled with flowers (if that’s the plan), it could easily rival any stylish café in Bali — and it’s going to be very, very cozy.
Worst ever stay. Extremely poor service. Not worth the money. Despite the decent location and fairly good rooms, the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional and careless service. I booked a 1BHK Villa (Villa Verda), but to my surprise, it turned out to be just a single bedroom with no hall or kitchen — highly misleading. I also received a complimentary floating breakfast, which didn't have an umbrella to our brekfast tray though it was raining. And when asked they didn't have one too. Ata place like ubud it is mostly raining and they didn't make any arrangements for the same too. The in-room safety locker was locked, and when I requested assistance, the staff simply told me to "adjust without a locker for a day" because their technician wasn’t available. Initially, they didn’t even bother to inspect the issue and instead kept asking irrelevant questions. For a traveler, a functional safety locker is critical — especially in a foreign country where we carry passports and valuables. Instead, I was told to trust their staff and just leave things outside! No hair dryer was provided in the room — I had to request one specifically. I was charged Rp 20,000 just to pack my breakfast (which was part of the complimentary meal). They repeatedly questioned me about paid water bottles, despite my clear response that I hadn’t used any. Only 250 ml of water per person per day was provided — completely unreasonable for a villa advertised at this price point. Overall, I felt frustrated, disrespected, and regretful for choosing this property. This was the first time I encountered such unhelpful and dismissive service in Bali. ⚠️ A word of caution: If you choose to stay here, take a video of the room upon check-in and checkout to protect yourself. The chances of being misled or charged unfairly are too high. Better to avoid Atta Mesari Villas if you're looking for honest service and hassle free stay.
Extremely bad experience at mestri hotel in Ubud. The staff is extremely useless, especially the receptionist, who seems to be finding ways to shoo away their costumers. Water provides is 250ml which is so less for 2 PPL staying ina room . And they claim to be 4 star. This hotel is a big trap, be careful guys. The only good thing there was the breakfast area where they were welcoming. But service wise is extremely useless. While making before checking in we requested them to accept card service where they try to loot 2% of ur money, when we told them that we would be making 50%of the payment today in rupaiah they refused that too. At the end we told them that we would like them to atleast take us to some nearby exchange which again they replied with a no. This all happened at late night while it was raining. BEWARE
