Really great hotel located in the center of the historical district in zacatecas! The rooms are nice and cozy and the service is great! Everything is accessible from the hotel and walking distance. The architecture is phenomenal and dates back to 1770! It's like being transported back in time. You will definitely enjoy your stay! The breakfast is also delicious and they have buffet on Sundays!

We go to Zacatecas yearly at least twice a year. I have always wanted to stay at this place. This visit we finally made it happen. Typically we like to try out staying at different Hotels so when we invite friends or more family to join, we suggest the nicest hotel with the best experience. Sadly, this hotel will never be that option. When we checked in, the front office was staffed by two very kind gentlemen who assisted us. The staff was great on day 1. Unfortunately, there is no elevator.. that was fine with us. This place is a gem! We were in awwww of how beautiful it is! Now, the rooms need some touching up. The walls look like 1990’s hotel rooms. There is no usb ports of any kind. That was fine.. Bedding is dated like from the early 90’s. The bathroom has a phone inside with phone cables. We tried watching TV but the remote control was not the right one so we called for assistance. They don’t have an iron in the room, you have to call to get one and sign for it. For the most part it wasn’t horrible for a one night stay. The next day… we called the lobby and the lady who answered at the front desk was so rude. We asked if we could leave our vehicle in the garage until checkout (parking in Zacatecas is challenging) and she said no. Mind you, we have stayed in many hotels in Zac and they are all usually good with it. Daniela, at the front desk was not and she was not being apologetic about it or try to sound empathetic. We informed her we would just checkout and asked if she could send someone up to assist with our bags (no elevator) she said there was no one available..and couldn’t send anyone. When we checked out, we were looked at as if we were bums off the street. No good morning, no greet, not a hint of housepitality. No eye contact, no “ can I help you?” So freaking RUDE! A man from the back walked up to ask us if we were checking out. I typed all this to show how one person just one can change the whole experience. Surely will not be staying there or even try to bring our friends who only visit Zacatecas if they join us. Or someone they know.. Zacatecas is beautiful! Filled with amazing beautiful souls and friendly smiles. Not here. Hopefully Daniela can read this post and check her face and attitude. Everyone else was nice. Been there . Sadly, will not go back.
