Messinian Bay Hotel

Great hotel located on the water. Good location for exploring the wonderful Messinian and Mani regions.

Clean and well maintained hotel with fantastic service. Spent 3 days with my family there and everybody made us feel so comfortable. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Always with a smile, always fantastic! I asked for a late checkout on a peak day as I had something to deal with and wanted to leave my family at the hotel for 2 more hours. The hotel fully booked. 10am the lady at the receptionist called the next guest to confirm his arrival in order to cater my request (and indeed they managed to cater it!). Due to the day, the easiest way would be to ignore my request and respond a simple “I am sorry but I can’t”. Still I wouldn’t be able to complain. I don’t have enough words to recommend this hotel. I wish every hotel in the country to have the same quality of services, this is the approach we want to see in the most important industry for our country.

The security guards are inexcusably rude to anyone that exits their room for any reason. The rooms are very small and there's barely any space to walk. The access from the cards you use as keys to your room is cancelled by them randomly. The meal choices in the afternoon are super limited (pasta, 2 kinds of salads, rice) and badly cooked at that. The hotel's location is too far away from the city. It looks more like a hospital than anything else. Hair and stains are found everywhere. Absolutely vile. Book elsewhere.
