Messner Palace

We were warmly welcomed when we came in for lunch. The service is friendly and the food was super. We ordered two pasta dishes. Unfortunately, we filled up quickly, otherwise we would have loved to taste more. This hotel has a super restaurant.

Hotel is very old and musty. The AC in the room was leaking water into the carpet creating a very unhealthy atmosphere. We ended up all getting sick with throat infection due to it. We did inform the front desk and they just place a bucket under it to collect the water but nothing else was done. Carpet were also dirty and smell really bad. No glass in the bathtub so there was water all over after taking a shower..

Hotel is rated a 4 star but the room was covered in a thick layer of dust, carpet had many large stains, bathroom was not cleaned and seemed used by previous occupant. Multiple Power Outages, no water or working TV in room. Couldn't even open room window due the amount of dust on window sill and air unit. Horribly disappointed especially for what they charged for the nightly rate. Avoid like the plague! Completely misrepresented - it’s clear why they have a no refund policy as you would not want to stay here.
