Metadee Concept Hotel

Simply Excellent. We travelled as a family of 9, 2 kids under the age of 10 and two very old folks. Most of us stayed in the "Ray" suites and the oldies had a villa. Everyone loved the experience, something for everyone. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty and would often rotate dishes daily. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. The shuttle bus service to the main road and beach was very handy. The evening food in all three restaurants was also superb. Gym facilities were top notch too.

I would start by saying this is not a 5 star hotel by global standards, so take that notion away. To make it 5 star there would be some changes needed, which I would be happy to share direct. However, you must take the price into consideration , which was extremely reasonable. The hotel has lovely grounds, lovely foliage and the swimming pools are very interesting - lots of water everywhere and it feels very private. We upgraded our room to a junior suite which wasn't too expensive and well worth the £. The staff are lovely and so kind and helpful. There is a good breakfast buffet with usual fresh options. Lovely Indian and other world food options. We are once in the hotel in the evening at the rooftop bar. Beautiful views, lovely decor. We had tapas and bar one dish, the food was excellent - very high quality. The hotel is sat back from the road - maybe a 5-7 minute walk to the road but there is a buggy service to the road and a shuttle to the beach. This is no problem. We went in low season, and there was always sunbeds and we never felt crowded. A very good international mix of clientele. Good pool bar service when we sat at the Villa pool, nice fresh juices etc. we had an issue with some beef but that was rectified well. We stayed 8 nights and had a good stay. Kata is well positioned for other nice villages and beaches as well, and there are some great eating spots.

We had an amazing family trip here. They had all the accommodations for us and were very friendly. They have an amazing swimming pool and great activities for our child. Food and drinks were delicious. Reen and Tan were amazing and very helpful. We would definitely come back to stay if we are in the area. Thank you for the amazing stay!
