Metropol Hotel

I stayed at the Metropol Lake Resort Ohrid hotel in May 2025. We arrived in Ohrid after a long journey from another country. We settled into our room. We wanted to take off our shoes and put on our slippers to rest. There were no slippers in the room. We told the reception and they said 'we don't know where the slippers are'. The hotel manager said 'we can't find the key to the closet where the slippers are'. I have advanced varicose veins and have been wearing varicose socks for 25 years. Since I couldn't take off my socks and rest my feet, my feet got cramps. My health was affected. However, the hotel didn't care about this situation. Think twice before going to this hotel. For example, suppose you have a problem in the pool or lake in the summer; it is obvious that the hotel will not take any responsibility and will not care about you. I think you should go to another hotel.

If you want to go back to the 60s this is the place. The rooms and the whole hotel are old and dated. The rooms were not cleaned well, the fridge had stains and food inside. They make you pay for the pool chairs, which I haven’t seen anywhere else. The only good thing is the location of the hotel. Amazing view

Do not even think about coming here, rooms are very old and neglected. More it is freezing and they don't help guests to feel safe& warm. Employees acting weird reactions and they are all uninterested. Bad food and drinks We will not come again and we do not offer!
