I stayed here for three nights with my mom and we had a great stay! The only thing that was a downside was some misunderstanding regarding the payment of my reservation upon arrival. Perhaps to not stir any worries with the guest next time, they should maybe double check the payment links they send out. Besides that only inconvenience, it was a fine stay and worth the price we paid when booking directly with them. I want to enhance to good service of Alexa, who took very good care of us during our stay. Bless her!
Pro - A few steps to metro station, very convenient, also nearby bus stops. Best location for using public transportation. Complementary snack (donuts, croissant) and drinking water available at the lobby. Nice decoration at lobby, and elevator to lobby (lobby is one floor upper than ground floor), no issue when travelling with luggage). Room is clean, not big but sufficient and functional. Con - No car parking at the site, even drop-off or pick-up in front of hotel, you should be there waiting for taxi (in case of advance booking for pick-up), as there is no parking for waiting. No amenity (such as toothbrush, shaving kits, no complementary drinking water, no coffee, no kettle, no fridge) supplied in the room. Air-con is not for cooling, rather heating. If the weather outside is not cool, you just open window (sometime it was not cool enough, i think). once window is opened at night, the street below with pubs/restaurant could be noisy sometime (I myself fall asleep not so difficult, so no issue for me).
The staff was extremely rude and barely spoke English, except for one gentleman who managed the breakfast hall. In particular, a woman at reception (unfortunately I do not know her name) was consistently unfriendly and unprofessional towards us. Examples: 1. When we arrived for check-in in the morning, we politely asked to leave our luggage until the afternoon. She snorted and gave us a hostile look. 2. Every time we returned to the hotel, she would glare at us and never return our greeting. 3. During check-out, she treated us very poorly and kept snorting until we left. 4. On 1–2 occasions at breakfast, she would look at us with a colleague and laugh. I have no idea what her issues might be, but her behavior was completely unacceptable for someone working in hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel, and I strongly suggest the management review this woman’s conduct.
