Metropolitan Hotel

I love this hotel. It’s reasonably priced, very well located close to the beach and easy to get to the market and Dizzengof. This is my second time staying here (the first time was for work). The girl at the reception, Yelina I believe, upgraded me to a suite which was ready so I was able to check in early (without me requesting any of this). All the staff were courteous and friendly, and the breakfast was great as well.

I've gotten to stay here twice (once on a teen tour and once during an internship) years ago but each time I loved it! The rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious, and they also have a gift shop! It's also located in a very central area of Tel Aviv right near the beach :)

I had a very disappointing experience at the Metropolitan Hotel. The cleaning staff barely do their job, rooms are superficially cleaned at best, and the bathrooms were clearly not properly maintained during my stay. On top of that, most of the housekeeping staff do not speak English, which made communication frustrating and ineffective. There is ongoing construction at the hotel, and the noise is constant throughout the day. It's nearly impossible to relax, work, or even rest in the room with the level of disturbance. To make matters worse, the pool has been closed for renovations for months, but this was not properly communicated. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards you'd expect from a hotel in this category. I would not recommend staying here until serious improvements are made. I do appreciate the effort of the staff, they seem to be doing their best within the limits of the situation, but the real issue lies with the management. This hotel needs serious attention and improvement to meet even basic standards!
