Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel, even though I found the price to be a little bit high. If anyone from the hotel is reading this please repair your workout equipment. 🙏🏻 The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was delicious at the hotel and was not too overpriced. I love the complementary water in the lobby, it’s a nice touch. Overall, my family found a room to be great, even though not hearing a fan in the bathroom, kind of freaks me out.
We had a great 3 night stay at Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver. We were a large group with 5 rooms, so we had an opportunity to experience the hotel from multiple perspectives. Previous reviews state that the hotel is dated. I don’t think that is an accurate reflection of the hotel. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. Yes, it’s not a new hotel, but it is well maintained. I did not eat in the hotel restaurant, but people who did said that it was quite good. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s in the tourist zone and there are scores of restaurants nearby. I stay at hotels often and can easily recommend the Metropolitan Hotel. It’s a good place.
We stayed here prior to our cruise departure. The location was convenient to the cruise terminal, rooms were clean (with a small balcony!), and the staff were friendly. There’s no shuttle to the cruise terminal but it was a quick Uber ride - which I would recommend as they drop you off right at baggage drop.
