Metropolitan Hotels Ankara

We stayed at Metropolitan Hotels Ankara and really enjoyed it! The room was spacious, modern, and perfectly clean, and the whole building has a stylish and comfortable vibe. The location and service were excellent, and everything felt very professional. The only thing is that breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was good. Still, I’ll definitely visit again thanks to the great cleanliness, service, and location.

The food was really delicious, and the hotel was nice but not 5 stars level. The hotel promises a “luxurious experience,” but that wasn't the case all the time. And it all starts at the front desk, where the staff barely speaks English. In a 5-star hotel in the capital of a big country in 2025. Then you enter the restaurant, and out of the 5 employees there, 0 speaks English. It took me 7 minutes and 3 stuff members to find out if they had desserts. They had it, and overall the food was really delicious. But then you go back to your room to work, and the internet is turned off. You call the reception desk and listen to the song “Enjoy our hospitality” for 5-6 minutes because no one is answering the phone. So, you go down to the reception, and they call an IT specialist to fix the Internet on your laptop (and in the entire hotel). After 1 hour, everything was fixed. And then, at the end of the day, you think, “Okay, I'll order a glass of wine in the room, it was a long day,” but they don't have alcohol in the entire hotel. And also they don’t give you a complementary bottle of water in a room. How can this be a 5-star “luxurious experience”, given such problems with language, internet and service? The room was nice and clean, there were no problems. But in general, the hotel is not of a high standard at all.

The location is great, not too far from the airport, the hygiene is good, nice staff and great spa, the downside is no outlet next to bed, really bad quality breakfast food.
