I'm having the worst experience with the hotel. so disappointed. To go to taksim square it's like climbing. The receptionist is so rude and impolite. We asked for toilet paper and she didn't send it so we buyed from the market. The toilet pissette is not good and the douche shower is so bad and the one we can handle it is not working, plus there's a bad odor from the toilet. No lufa, bad shampoo, no toothbrushes or toothpaste, no tissue in the room, only two bottles of water for 3 days, no smart tv, i saw dead mosquitoes on the desk even that we didn't open the window. The man in the kitchen was nice and the room view was very nice. Clothing cabinet is big. No lights in the room just lampadaires but this was not an issue. Overall i'll never visit this hotel again specially because of the rude non welcoming receptionist she only cares about money. I had an expereince before at germir palas the night costs more than meteopolitan but the staff were very nice and the hotel was cozy and directly on taksim square

The hospitality service in the hotel was severely lacking. The front desk were dismissal of any concerns we had, even when we had checked out, it was rude to have simply waved us off sight. The location of the hotel is wonderful, i.e. walking distance to Taksim Square, but, the service is below 1star. Drinking water is only provided on day 1, for everyday after, one is to buy their own. The room service staff moved our belongings from where we'd placed them (something I've never seen before). All this plus the monotonous conversations we tried to have with the front desk. 😐

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived to find the wrong room, and things quickly went downhill. As business travelers, we requested an iron something basic and were told by reception to “figure it out ourselves” or go outside the hotel. No effort was made to help, despite multiple requests and an urgent schedule. The staff was not just unhelpful they were blatantly rude and dismissive. After deciding to cut our stay short to avoid further problems, we were shocked to be told they couldn’t even provide proof of check-out clearly to block any chance of a refund. This is completely unacceptable and borderline fraudulent. Thankfully, Booking.com customer service intervened and helped us recover the cost of the remaining nights. The hotel, however, refused any negotiation, made no apology, and took no responsibility. If you value professionalism, respect, and even basic customer service avoid this hotel at all costs. They are not just unprofessional, they are openly hostile to guests.
