The hotel has best location, along Nanjing Road (East) walking street and next to subway line 2. For such good location, base on my search, this hotel offers the best price. The room and inventories are clean and well maintained. AC is perfectly normal to me. Will book again on my next visit to Shnaghai.

The hotel is located at the prime area of Nanjing Road pedestrian street so this is definitely the biggest plus point. Staff were generally friendly and rooms were reasonably clean. Unlimited free drinking water provided. Worth a recommendation.

Here's the improved version of your review: The moment I entered through the front door, I was confused about the location. It turns out there are three locations within a 10-minute walking distance, and the one I entered wasn’t the one I had expected. This hotel is located next to the iconic Peace Hotel and close to the Bund, but the surrounding area is lined with tacky retail stores, if you know what I mean. The lobby is small, dark, and situated next to a hot pot restaurant. The room itself was clean and matched the pictures, but at 900 RMB for a double bed room, it felt overpriced—you’re essentially paying for the location. The next day, I switched to the Jinjiang Hotel and also checked out the Garden Hotel Shanghai nearby. These are upscale hotels truly worth 900 RMB. While they aren’t next to the Bund, they’re located in a more sophisticated and less touristy area, in my opinion, with a much better overall vibe.
