Mgm Grand Sanya

The hotel is nice, with extensive grounds featuring beautiful gardens and pools. The room is very spacious and well-equipped, and it's especially nice to have a coffee machine available. However, I don't understand why the staff allows local sellers to sit on the hotel's sun chairs; it's very unpleasant. Additionally, the sun loungers lack mattresses, unlike those at the neighboring Marriott. It's also very disappointing that all activities incur additional costs; given the high price of the hotel, I would expect everything to be included.

Very Western. Buffet breakfast was simply adequate. The beach was fantastic. The spa and weight-room were nice. The rooms were simple. The nightlife was non-existent.

Was amazed by the number of 5 stars ratings, given to this place. Rooms are old, dirty with cleaning not even looking below the bed. When we asked a reception guy about decent place to have a lunch, the answer was “I don’t speak English”, however he spoke it. Amazing disrespect. Half of the list in the bar is not available. Zero English speakers (with a few exceptions). Second star is for keeping the facilities and clean grass. To summarize, nothing in common with “Hawaii” or other resorts. Rubbish.
