This hotel is amazing, all the staff are very friendly and talkative. The hotel guide Ali was very helpful about everything. He speaks very English. The staff were very quick to sort out any issues we had. Great service for the price paid. I will come back next time I come on holiday to Turkey.
I do not recommend this hotel at all. The hotel staff does not speak or understand English properly, making communication difficult, and many of them had a very arrogant attitude. The hotel was completely overcrowded with queues everywhere, and people were rude and self-centered. The location is not good, and there is very little to do in the surrounding area. Without a car or organized trips, there's nothing to do. Alanya city center and its beaches are too far to walk. The hotel's own beach was okay and not too crowded, about 400-500 meters away, with a shuttle provided by the hotel. The hotel room was clean and the air conditioning worked well, but the room had a bad smell from day one (cigarette), which caused headaches. In the bathroom, shower water spread across the entire floor and wouldn't drain, as the only drain was under the shower and the water couldn't flow back there. We had to keep wet towels on the floor, which the cleaners didn't always replace. In addition, the floor was EXTREMELY slippery and therefore dangerous - we almost fell several times. Initially, cleaning was fine, but in the last few days, we didn't get all our towels back or even changed, and eventually there was no cleaning at all for the last three days. Also, the room had only one very small trash bin in the bathroom, which filled up immediately even with minimal waste. The hotel's breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were the same every day. Most dishes were not labeled, making it very difficult for a vegetarian to find suitable food, even though the hotel was described as vegetarian-friendly. People were rude, cutting in line, and children were eating directly from the serving dishes using the same utensils others used to take the food. The food was just barely mediocre. There was no room to eat indoors, and outside you had to eat in cigarette smoke as people were smoking at nearby tables. Tables were left in a horrible state, and the amount of food waste was shocking. It was impossible to get a sunbed by the pool, as other guests reserved every single one with towels and personal items - even overnight - and nothing was done to prevent this. The advertised à la carte restaurant and gym did not exist. The only positive thing was Ali, who is mentioned in many other reviews as well. He organized trips and car rentals, spoke good English, and made sure guests were well taken care of. He gave a very warm and friendly welcome every day. All in all, this is not a 4-star hotel - at best, it's a 2-star, maybe 3 on a good day.
The Worst Hotel Experience of Our Lives Never go to this hotel – you’ll waste your money and ruin your holiday. We couldn’t wait to leave and were extremely disappointed. You wait a whole year for your summer vacation, only to leave feeling completely ripped off. From the moment you step inside, it’s obvious things will go badly. The place is filthy, the facilities haven’t been updated in years, and the furniture is old, dirty, and worn out. Everything comes with an extra charge – Wi-Fi in the room, a cocktail, even playing pool in the lobby. It feels like the sole purpose is to take your money without offering any quality or service in return. Staff make you wait 20 minutes in line just to get 100ml of soda in a tiny cup. Ask for a larger one and you’re told they’re “tired.” You roam around for 10 minutes looking for a chair, fork, or even a sugar packet for your coffee. It doesn't feel like a vacation – it’s a survival challenge for a table, a sunbed, food, water, or even a fork. The room – reeked of toilet odor. Inside: a rusty disabled toilet seat, mold, a soaked bathroom door, no soap, only toilet paper. The blanket was not only dirty but had a huge hole in it. This wasn’t just neglect – it felt like a complete lack of respect for guests. The food – at first it looks abundant, but it’s the same every day, always tasting the same, chopped in huge pieces like for animals. Often you don’t even know what you’re eating – strange minced meat, bluish chicken. Leftover bread is fried and served the next day with a moldy taste. By day three, you start wondering what on earth you’re supposed to eat. Dinner – another fight. Long lines form outside the restaurant, and there aren’t enough tables. The pool – sunbeds are “reserved” from the night before. The floor is dangerously slippery and there are no non-slip mats. Skinny, sick cats beg for food everywhere. Animation – boring and repetitive. The same 10 songs on a loop. Morning fitness is always the same. Evening “entertainment” includes an outdated kids’ disco with songs from 15 years ago, a song-guessing quiz, Russian karaoke, and it all ends with Turkish folk dance. The beach – sunbeds and mats are over 10 years old, dirty, torn, and uncomfortable. Same music plays every day on repeat – the same 20 songs, 5 times a day. The beach food is identical every day – burgers, fries, and plain spaghetti. Just 50 meters away you can already find normal hotels. Without a doubt, this is the worst hotel in Konakli. Don’t ruin your holiday. The negative reviews are real – not written by overly picky tourists, but by people whose basic dignity was ignored.
