Michel Hotel Magdeburg

It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.

We slept for one night and the lady mess up the booking reservation and we spent 30’ on the reception and they didn’t fix it, but we pay and received a room after all. Was cold in the room and the lady drom the reception didn’t speak English. So I ll avoid for the future, but in case of no other place around is good to sleep!

We were extremely disappointed with the check-in experience at your hotel. Upon our arrival, the receptionist—an older gentleman, approximately 55–65 years old, wearing glasses—displayed a noticeably unwelcoming and dismissive attitude. Rather than greeting us with a courteous welcome, he simply responded with an indifferent "OK" when I introduced myself and mentioned our reservation. There was no effort to create a hospitable or friendly atmosphere, and we were handed a document to sign in a similarly disengaged and impersonal manner. Furthermore, during the booking process on your website, there was no indication that parking outside the hotel would incur an additional charge. When we inquired about this at check-in, the response we received was both curt and condescending, as if our question was unreasonable. The lack of clear communication combined with the dismissive tone was disappointing and unprofessional. We have stayed at many hotels and have never encountered such a cold and inhospitable reception. The entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. We hope you take this feedback seriously and address this issue, as it significantly impacted our overall impression of your establishment.
