Michelangelo Hotel

So many times here and for sure last was not the last one. I will be back. Rooms - well, some pieces (washbasin taps and bathroom faucets) could be changed for new ones, sometimess water pressure is low, but I can forgive it. A little problem is that in foot distance there is no good restaurant (pizzeria - OK, there is, 5 minutes by walk). Hotel is very nice, cosy. Breakfast is simple, nothing fancy, if you are looking for a lavish buffet, this is not the place. Staff is very nice, always ready to help you. Hotel offers small parking, available only for personal cars, and free of cost. Good place if you are planning to visit Forli and some cities near (Faenza, Imola, Dozza). For me it was even good place to go to Firenze, why not?

We were kindly welcomed to the hotel. The rooms are in the style of fascism (very sparse). See video. The bathroom window was open and I was unable to close it and there was only a small towel and large towel. In the other room we got, the water leaked out from the shower and flooded the bathroom floor so all the towels were used to clean it up. The bathroom also had ants. For the price, it worked for the one night we stayed.

I had higher expectations for a four-star hotel. Upon arrival, check-in was smooth, and the room initially looked very nice. However, the following day, while adjusting the curtains, I noticed a significant amount of mold on the wall, which was quite disappointing. I immediately reported it to reception, and to their credit, they quickly upgraded me to their best available room. While I appreciated the prompt service, it’s clear that some rooms are in need of maintenance and updating. That said, my overall stay was pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.
