Michelangelo Hotel

Efficient service. Clean rooms. Useful for the purpose of my stay (work meeting). Been there over the years, rooms could use some restyling. Yet, its location makes the place almost unbeatable for small conferences or group meetings if coming by train.

We had a great view of the city on 6 floor. Great clean room even if it smelt like cigarettes. Very 80’s Wall Street feel almost like a gold Casio calculator watch but in hotel form. Excellent breakfast service!!!

As you see others review, the location is great. Right in front of Central Station. Front staff were not that friendly.... No smile either. Almost always short staffed. Only one or two so you have to wait. When I checked in, I only got a room key without any explanation. I had to ask the check-out time and breakfast venue. My first time ever that I was not informed of the check out time. In the room, there was some welcome water and soda. But NO hot water or kettle. They said I would have to call a room service and pay 8 Euro for hot water.... Also WiFi is kind of old-fashioned. Only available in my own room and have to keep the room TV on for the access. Nice to have a bath tub with a weak Jacuzzi. I couldn’t turn on a room heater for some reason. But I was too tired to ask someone.
