Microtel by Wyndham Wellington

Great budget hotel experience, I had the interior windowless queen and everything was functional and comfortable. The A/C worked, the water pressure was fine. However, there was very limited housekeeping, and this was not disclosed. For a five night stay split up between two different bookings I did not receive any housekeeping, not even a towel refresh. Location is excellent and very close to Cuba St.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Microtel Wellington. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and I appreciated the attention to detail and professionalism. The room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, the lighting was just right, and I loved the little touches like USB charging ports and a good-sized desk for getting work done. Despite being in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a great night’s sleep. The location is another big plus – close to great cafes, shops, and public transport, making it easy to explore Wellington. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Microtel offers great value for money and a high level of comfort. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Wellington. Highly recommended!

Fine wee bunker room for a short stay in the Central city. I've stayed twice, for 1 night each. Rooms are sufficient. (208 and 220 are internal with aircon and bathroom) Clean, tidy. The person at check in 2pm on sat 21/6 was helpful and friendly. BEDS. They are VERY firm. Too firm for my body, but fine for the occasional 1 night. Anymore and I'd stay elsewhere. Note. I did not use the parking or arrive outside of check in times. Reasonably quiet, but the rooms are not soundproof.
