Had the most relaxing time. . Was made to feel very welcome and the massage was just what I didnt know I needed. . Sunny was very friendly, professional and eased the tension in my neck and shoulders. . The perfect special treat to ourselves in a beautiful setting. . Pool was lush, steam room intensely enjoyable, showers just right. Will definitely go back

Middlewick was profoundly disappointing and unacceptable. Not only did they charge over €3,000 for a one-week stay in a cottage, but the conditions were utterly deplorable. The cottage was old and poorly maintained, with a strong foul odor, visible bugs emerging from the kitchen furniture, and what appeared to be termite damage. The upper floor roof was dangerously slanted, giving the impression it could collapse at any moment. The entire place reeked of marijuana, and the level of filth was beyond anything I’ve ever encountered in my 12 years of leading retreats in Glastonbury. The shower barely functioned unless physically hit, and the overall state of disrepair made it feel unsafe and uninhabitable. After spending such a significant amount of money, one expects a peaceful countryside stay — not a health and safety hazard. I had to urgently relocate to a hotel after the first night, as I couldn’t sleep, and my 21-year-old daughter was in tears due to the unbearable conditions. I am shocked that Middlewick would rent such a property, and I strongly urge others to exercise caution. No one should have to endure this kind of experience — especially not at such a high price point.
